Terms of Use

These terms govern your use of the Creel app (iOS and Android) and the website usecreel.app. By creating an account or using Creel you agree to them and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use Creel.

You must be at least 13 years old. Keep your sign-in secure; you are responsible for what happens under your account. You can delete your account at any time in the app's settings.

Reading a recipe from a video costs credits. Every account gets free starter credits and a small weekly top-up. The free plan shows ads. Credits can also be bought in packs or earned (for example by inviting a friend, completing a survey or watching a rewarded video). Credits have no cash value, cannot be transferred or exchanged for money, and are not refundable except where the law or the store's refund policy says otherwise. We may change how many credits an action costs; the price is always shown before you spend.

• Creel Pro is an auto-renewing subscription, billed monthly or yearly, that adds a credit allowance each period and removes ads. Prices are shown in the app, in your store's currency, before you buy.
• Payment is charged to your Apple ID or Google Play account when you confirm the purchase.
• The subscription renews automatically at the same price and length unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account is charged for the renewal within the 24 hours before the period ends.
• Manage or cancel it in your App Store or Google Play account settings. Cancelling stops the next renewal; you keep Pro and its credits until the period you paid for ends. Credits already granted stay in your account.
• Refunds are handled by Apple or Google under their policies. If a purchase is refunded, the credits it granted are removed.

Recipes, notes, photos and collections you add stay yours. You give Creel the licence needed to store, process and show them to you — and, only for what you choose to publish, to other users. Only add videos and content you have the right to use. Do not post anything illegal, hateful, infringing or misleading. We may remove content or suspend accounts that break these rules.

Recipes are extracted from videos by AI and can contain mistakes — in quantities, temperatures, timings or allergens. Check ingredients and cooking steps yourself, especially for allergies, dietary needs and food safety. Nutrition estimates are approximate and are not medical advice.

Do not misuse Creel: no reverse engineering, scraping, automated abuse of credits or rewards, fake survey or ad activity, or attempts to break the service's security. Credits obtained through abuse may be removed.

These terms are between you and Creel, not Apple or Google, who are not responsible for the app or its content. If you got the app from the App Store, Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies, and Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms. Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support for the app.

Creel is provided “as is”, without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent the law allows. We are not liable for indirect or consequential damages, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid Creel in the 12 months before it. Nothing here limits rights you have under consumer protection laws that cannot be waived.

We may update these terms. When a change is meaningful we update the date above and let you know in the app or by email; continuing to use Creel after that means you accept them.
